Malaysia - March 20th

107 workers were detained for working illegally in a recent raid on a Malaysian construction site. The foreign nationals, who were living in a nearby complex, had their papers checked by Malaysian police. Those 107 workers are now being held at an immigration detention center and will likely be deported. Foreign nationals often leave their home countries to find work. Among those living with the Bangladeshi workers were Pakistanis, Indonesians, and Nepalis, some of whom were also detained. Source: The Daily Star
