A group called the Tcharmils is gaining prominence in Morocco. The group is mostly male and are known for committing crimes like robbery or sword-brandishing in public and a ‘faux-hawk’ hairstyle. The group has formed because of the lack of opportunity in Morocco – around half of people aged 15-29 are unemployed and not in school. The Tcharmils are angry with feeling stuck. However, the public does not support their crimes and they group is not politically active. Source: Al Jazeera
