Tanzania - March 2

The World Bank approved $300 million in credit from the International Development Association this Monday, which will be used to improve Tanzania’s key services under the Dar es Salaam Metropolitan Development Program. The credit will help address the consequences of the country’s rapid growth rate, improving direct services for 1.9 million citizens and solving problems related with flooding, job availability, and infrastructure for its low-income neighborhoods.
