According to official figures released by the Office for National Statistics in the United Kingdom this week, inflation in the UK remained at 0.0% for the month of February 2015: the lowest level on record. This rate was down from the 0.3% inflation rate recorded in January of this year. According to the ONS, although constant inflation indicates that the cost of living is roughly the same as it was a year earlier, prices are actually 0.01% lower than a year ago when the inflation rate is calculated to two decimal places.
