Venezuela - Mar 24
Approval of President Nicolas Maduro has increased to 25% this month according to a survey from a local data analysis firm. Analysts believe that the recent sanctions imposed by the US government caused some Venezuelans to unite behind Maduro. Low approval rates for leaders is not uncommon in Latin America. President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil and Ollanta Humala in Peru as well as others are also struggling to obtain public support.
